The product package arrived damaged. Can I get a refund?

Our product packages are sent with bubble wrap around the box to protect them as much as possible, while not making the parcel too heavy (so that we can still offer free or strongly reduced worldwide shipping).
In spite of these measures, it is not completely avoidable for product packages to get damaged during transit once in a while, due to the long distances they need to cover and the couriers trying to expedite the shipment.
Unfortunately, we can not give out any refunds or exchanges due to that, as we state in our return policy.

Of course this exclusion applies only to the product box and not in case the product itself arrives damaged.
